John is a co-founder of ConceptSix and is a senior business and technology strategist. John has led the design and delivery of major successful transformation programs across a range of industries and sectors including financial services and education, though his passion lies in working with the public sector on highly complex and challenging problems.
Highlights
- Led the Second Pass business case through to implementation for the enhanced myGov platform and the new myGov app, including implementation strategy, architecture, roadmap, budget and procurement activities.
- Led the design and planning for a $120m+ finance and human resources business transformation, including First Pass and Second Pass business cases, strategy, benefits, implementation planning, procurement and vendor selection.
- Led a strategic review and implementation recovery for a large, challenged business transformation ($100m budget), supporting the recovery as the transformation delivery partner through a transition to an agile delivery model.
- Led the ICT consulting team in developing a $1.5-2.0bn Second Pass business case for a large Government agency to replace a major legacy system, followed by supporting the mobilisation, architecture, legislation simplification analysis and procurement activities for the program.
- Led the technology stream for a strategic review for a $250m+ business transformation, including end to end architectural review, implementation planning, cost modelling, market scan and proof of concept activities to inform a go no go decision.
